The aim of the project was to adapt a 1950s flat to the needs of a couple, while maintaining the Mid Century Modern cultural references to which the building drew inspiration. The objective was achieved by maximising the living space for everyday use, which can be divided into two independent and disengaged rooms thanks to a large sliding wall clad in wood. This can create, according to the need of the moment, a guest room or a private study. In the sleeping area, the master bedroom has a walk-in wardrobe and on-suite bathroom. The flat is completed by a kitchen separated by a glass wall, a small laundry room, a convenient storage room and a service bathroom.
